Cancellations / Rescheduling

Cancellations & Rescheduling:

• Multiple cancellation and reschedules will NOT be allowed or tolerated. This takes away from Dr. Hartman (any business), and others who may have wanted or needed in that particular day and time.
• You can cancel and reschedule up to two consecutive times if cancelled within 24 hours the day before your appointment or 48hours if booked online.
• If a third consecutive cancellation and reschedule occurs in the same month, it will result in a charge of the full amount of your 3^rd appointment scheduled. It is not fair to Dr. Hartman or any business, and hurts the business in the process.
• If you cancel your appointment the day of or last min during a special, you will be charged. Visit Policies for details 
• If you cancel your appointment day of or last min during regular prices, you will be charged a fee! Every time Dr. Hartman has a last minute or day of cancellation she loses out. Visit Policies for details
• Online Scheduling must have a 48hr cancellation /reschedule notice or a minimum fee of $80 will be charged depending on what you were scheduled for.  Visit Policies for details. Since you pick the day and time, Dr. Hartman needs at least 48hrs to give the opportunity for someone else to schedule.
• Dr. Hartman tries to be fair and gives patients 3 outs within a years time: #1) Illness – you or your child (once in a year) #2) Medical Emergency (which has to be proved you or your child once in a year) & #3) Winter – state of emergency in Howard County. Otherwise, you can cancel ahead of time if you don’t want to drive in the snow. Each time a patient cancels last min or day of, Dr. Hartman keeps all communications, records why, what date and time you were scheduled etc.; this way no one can cancel for the same thing twice. Numerous places and doctors offices charge for missed appointments and do not allow any leniency’s.
• Work related last min or day of cancellations are not an exception. The only exceptions are: a physician, nurse practitioner, or nurse with a patient who has a medical emergency and are required to be there and /or if you are a supervisor and are required (forced) to stay over at work. Those who work during the day need to take a paid time off day, vacation day, half day etc. a doctors slip will be given to you.
• If this continues to be an issue with canceling and rescheduling often, Dr. Hartman will no longer take you as a patient. It is uncouth and unfair to any business for someone to continue to schedule and cancel over and over again. It hurts the business and causes financial loss.

NOTE: There are allergies in office. PLEASE do not come in with perfume, scented lotions/oil, cologne, etc. It causes Dr. Hartman to have a headache/migraine, runny nose, sneezing, and/or other reactions. Thank you!

All prices are subject to change. Dr. Hartman states with all new patients and/or therapy clients their price upfront; there are NO hidden fees or extra fees given for being a “new” patient or therapy client. Dr. Hartman is honest and charges the same for everyone.  If prices change, her patients and therapy clients know a couple months in advanced BEFORE the new prices change. She does not take time away from anyone either, unless you are running late, and it pushes her to have to cut you time.
