What is Telehealth? it refers to a broader scope of remote healthcare services than telemedicine. While telemedicine refers specifically to remote clinical services, telehealth can refer to remote non-clinical services, such as provider training, administrative meetings, natural advice, nutritional help, continuing education, etc. in addition to clinical services.

Goals of Telehealth:

• Make health care accessible to people who live in rural or isolated communities.
• Make services more readily available or convenient for people with limited mobility, time or transportation options.
• Provide access to specialists.
• Improve communication and coordination of care among members of a health care team and a patient.
• Provide support for self-management of health care.
• Advice for patients on all health topics
• Advice for patients’ nutritional need (and much more)
