Dr. Hartman has a PhD & Doctorate in Integrative Medicine, which is it’s own field; not to be confused with other fields such as: Functional Medicine, Natural Medicine, Naturopathic Medicine, Alternative Medicine etc. They are NOT the same things. At this time, Dr. Hartman is the only one in Indiana with these degrees in each of the fields she practices in, and checks often to welcome others in the fields.
Dr. Hartman is currently working on establishing an Association to stop others and businesses from the misrepresentation and misnomer of using “Integrative” and/or “Integrative Medicine.” As it is it’s own field and NOT to be confused with other medicine fields.
