What is a Health Coach? a wellness authority and supportive mentor who motivates individuals to cultivate positive health choices and lifestyles. Subjects up for discussion for example can be about: nutritional health, herbs, homeopathy, hormones, immune system, medications, health challenges and/or conditions, day to day challenges /stressors; & much more.
A health coach educates and supports patients to achieve their health goals through lifestyle, diet, changing negative patterns etc. The information provided is to help guide patients to better health & nutritional choices. Teaches patients how to manage their weight, preventive health modalities, maintaining overall health, etc. Examples: learning how to help yourself between sessions; How taking simple, small steps can help prevent some health problems / conditions /diseases, etc. Advice about how to become healthier, ways in which this is accomplished and teach about natural health, fitness, healthy living, dietary /nutritional aspects, the effects of common lifestyle choices and so on. All consults are individualized and is put together for patients unique situations. Health coaches don’t diagnose conditions, prescribe medications or recommend lower or higher doses of your current medications.
